  • New River Valley Fair

  • Orange County Fair
    July 23 - 26, 2009 - Orange, Virginia

    Highlights include: An old fashioned country fair that celebrates the joys of rural life with activities, contests, and entertainment for all ages, but no midway carnival and no high pressure selling activities.
  • Loudon County Fair
    July 26 - August 1, 2009 - Leesburg, Virginia

    Highlights include: Country fair fun including a Kiss-a-Pig Contest, demolition derby, circus thrill show and more.
  • Albemarle County Fair
    July 28 – August 2, 2009 - North Garden, Virginia

    Highlights include: Offers wholesome entertainment and activities that emphasize the deep human, natural, and agricultural resources of Central Virginia.
  • Fairfax County 4-H Fair and Frying Pan Park Farm Show
    August 1 - 2, 2009 - Herndon, Virginia

    Highlights include: 4-H exhibits, horse shows, livestock and rabbit judging, dog and pet shows, food, kiddie rides, entertainment, old-fashioned games, pie-eating contest, demonstrations, 4-H Fashion Show, crafters and more.
  • Warren County Fair
    August 3 - 8, 2009 - Front Royal, Virginia

    Highlights include: Livestock show and sale, midway rides and entertainment, demolition derby, Karaoke and auto show.
  • Clarke County Fair
    August 9 - 15, 2009 - Berryville, Virginia

    Highlights include: Demolition derbies, pig scrambles, bull riding, tractor pulls, lawnmower races, livestock exhibits and carnival games and rides.
  • Rockingham County Fair
    August 17 - 22, 2009 - Harrisonburg, Virginia

    Highlights include: Livestock, agriculture exhibits, grandstand events including motocross, bull riding, demo derby, tractor pull, country music and more.
  • Prince William County Fair
    August 14 - 22, 2009 - Manassas, Virginia

    Highlights include: Midway rides and entertainment (including country music singing stars,) barn shows, exhibits and displays, food, a Civil War encampment, truck and tractor pulls, a rodeo, demolition derbies, baby contests and pet shows.
  • Powhatan County Fair
    August 18 - 23, 2009 - Powhatan, Virginia

    Highlights include: One of Virginia's longest running fairs features carnival rides, games, pony rides, food vendors, exhibits and lawn mower racing.
  • Arlington County Fair
    August 19 - 23, 2009 - Arlington, Virginia

    Highlights include: Family fun for all ages plus Arlington County Police K-9 demonstrations and Famous Racing Pigs.

  • Tazewell County Fair
    Dates TBA - Tazewell, Virginia

    Highlights include: Southwest Virginia Sportsman’s Expo and Horse Shows, Monster Truck Show and Pit Crew Challenge, a high school rodeo, college night, lots of entertainment, farm animals, carnival rides and more.
  • Chesterfield County Fair
    August 28 - September 5, 2009 - Chesterfield, Virginia

    Highlights include: Midway fun and entertainment, racing pigs, petting zoo, pony rides, Kiddie Land, a Civil War Display and arts and crafts.

  • Shenandoah County Fair
    August 28 – September 5, 2009 Woodstock, Virginia

    Highlights include: Top entertainment, harness racing, livestock shows, bull riding, demolition derby, tractor pulls, rides, children's activities, agricultural and home arts exhibits, and food.

  • Highland County Fair
    September 2 - 5, 2009 - Monterey, Virginia

    Highlights include: Opening hometown parade, live gospel and bluegrass performances, a carnival and midway with games and rides, a demolition derby, truck and tractor pulls, livestock shows, dog show, horse show and contests.

  • Russell County Fair and Horse Show
    September 4 - 12, 2009 - Castlewood, Virginia

    Highlights include: An old-fashioned county fair complete with midway rides, games, a horse show, entertainment and a demolition derby.

  • Sedalia County Fair
    September 12, 2009 - Big Island, Virginia

    Highlights include: A petting zoo and many other children's activities, livestock displays, old-time agricultural demonstrations, terrier races, sheepdog demonstrations, mule jumps and races, food competitions and food vendors.

  • Washington County Fair
    September 14 - 19, 2009 - Abingdon, Virginia

    Highlights include: A parade, special daily concerts, petting zoo, carnival rides, livestock and educational exhibits.

  • Bluemont Fair
    September 19 - 20, 2009 - Bluemont, Virginia

    Highlights include: More than 100 juried artisans and historic crafts demonstrations, live music, food vendors and children's activities.

  • Carroll County Fair
    Dates TBA - Hillsville, Virginia

    Highlights include: Competitions, a horse show, horse and tractor pulls, a pet show, a Mr. Carroll County Pageant and the Carroll County Idol Contest.

  • Patrick County Agricultural Fair
    September 22 - 26, 2008 - Stuart, Virginia

  • Floyd Harvest Festival and County Fair
