Overview of June Weather in the Southeast

Average June Temperatures
June takes us from spring into summer and is often one the most pleasant of the warmer months in the Southeast. High average temperatures tend to range in the low to upper 80s with low average temperatures in the 60s. Temperatures in the mountains are often 5 to 10 degrees cooler than other areas and sea breezes keep the coastal areas slightly cooler than interior areas. Humidity, a major factor of the summer comfort level in the Southeast, is often not bad in early June and tends to rise as June approaches July.
