For family fun, group travel or romantic getaways for two, the ski resorts of the Southeast U.S. offer a fun way for all age groups to embrace the winter season while enjoying majestic scenery and an array of winter activities. The Blue Ridge Mountains, the Great Smoky Mountains and the Allegheny Mountains of the Southeast U.S. are home several ski areas, ranging from full service resorts with on-site lodging, relaxing spas, skating rinks and ski villages to smaller ski areas that are ideal for a day of skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing.
