Georgia Sales Tax Holidays

2009 Summer Sales Tax Holiday: Thursday, July 30 at 12:01 a.m. - Sunday, August 2 at midnight

Georgia's 4-day Summer Sales Tax Holiday provides for a sales tax exemption for certain items purchased, including clothing and school supplies.

2009 Georgia Exemption for Specific Energy Efficient Products: October 1 - October 4, 2009.

This fall Sales Tax Holiday provides for an exemption for specific energy efficient products purchased during the stated time period. The exemption is limited to products with a purchase price of $1,500 or less that have been designated as meeting requirements of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Department of Energy Energy Star programs.
