There are many beautiful sculptures of angels located throughout Bonaventure Cemetery, including the above sculpture of a young angel holding a large scallop shell.

The following Bible verse is inscribed on a curved wall behind the angel:

"Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not
receive the kingdom of God as a little child
he shall not enter therein."
