The Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa
Asheville, North Carolina

The historic Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, just one and one-half miles from the center of Asheville. The resort's mysterious resident ghost is known as the Pink Lady and it is believed that she fell to her death in the hotel's Palm Court atrium in 1920.

Hotel employees and guests alike have seen, sensed and experienced the Pink Lady's presence for more than 50 years. Research carried out by the hotel in 1996 revealed some evidence centering on room 545, which is located two stories above the Palm Court atrium floor. Although considered to be a gentle spirit sometimes seen as a floating pink hued cloud of smoke, several encounters with her have resulted in icy cold sensations and hairs standing on end. The hotel offers seasonal history tours, which include more information about this ghostly guest.

Halloween Fun
The Grove Park Inn's annual Halloween weekend features caramel-covered apples, live music, the annual Jack-O-Lantern competition, fall crafts, a pumpkin-carving demonstration, face-painting fun, a Trick-or-Treat Treasure Hunt and more.

Additional Information
The Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa is an AAA Four Diamond resort and a member of Historic Hotels of America.
