Presented annually for a few weeks during the summer, this outdoor historical drama portrays the poignant story of the 1839 mutiny aboard the Amistad Slave Ship. The story comes to life through music, dance and speeches and is the nation's only outdoor drama written, produced, and directed by and about African Americans.
