Winterfest Events:
The charming village of Blowing Rock, located in the mountains of North Carolina, celebrates winter each year with the Annual Blowing Rock Winterfest. Several special events take place during the four day festival, offering lots of winter fun for all ages.
Food and Wine Events:
Special food and wine events include a Chili Challenge, Pancake Breakfast, a Wine Tasting and Auction and WinterFeast, an evening of various culinary delights created by some of Blowing Rock's fine restaurants.
Family Fun:
Kids will enjoy free hayrides, hot chocolate and roasting marshmallows or making s'mores at the Memorial Park bonfire (weather permitting) plus other fun activities
More Winterfest Entertainment and Fun:
Winterfest entertainment includes music and theater performances, an ice carving competition and, for the truly hearty, the popular annual Polar Plunge into icy Chetola Lake.
