Myrtle Beach 53rd Annual CanAm Days Festival

By February 5, 2014

Follow me on:

During March each year, Myrtle Beach hosts Canadian-American Days, a festival featuring a fun-filled lineup of entertainment and special events (many free), as well as discounts, giveaways and savings on area attractions, restaurants and services. This annual festival, first introduced in 1961 as an event for Canadians visiting the Myrtle Beach area during their spring school break, has grown into a celebration not only for visiting Canadians, but for all guests and locals in the Myrtle Beach area.

Celebrating the festival's 53rd Anniversary this year, dates for the 2014 Canadian-American Days are March 8 - 16, 2014.

I’ve been going down to Myrtle Beach for years in the fall and stay at some of our favorite North Myrtle Beach Hotels, but I had no idea there was such a thing as Can Am week, might have to change plans to visit then next year.
