Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, located along the Potomac River about halfway between Washington, D.C. and George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate, is a delightful and convenient point of departure for a number of river sightseeing cruises. Enjoy a river tour or dining cruise on the mighty Potomac by day or by night, complete with amazing views of the national monuments or picturesque harbor scenes.
