During March each year, Myrtle Beach hosts Canadian-American Days, a festival offering a fun-filled lineup of entertainment and special events (many free), as well as discounts, giveaways and savings on area attractions, restaurants and services. This annual festival, first introduced in 1961 as an event for Canadians visiting the Myrtle Beach area during their spring school break, has grown into a celebration not only for visiting Canadians, but for all guests and locals in the Myrtle Beach area. Celebrating the festival's 52nd Anniversary this year, dates for the 2013 Canadian-American Days are March 9 - 17, 2013.
