October House and Garden Festivals in the Charleston SC Area

Known for its elegant architecture and hidden gardens, Charleston offers visitors the opportunity to explore a selection of historic districts during the Annual Fall Tours of Homes and Gardens, presented by the Preservation Society of Charleston. Self-guided walking tours are scheduled on selected days, taking place now through October 25, 2009.

A little over an hour's drive from Charleston, the Beaufort, South Carolina Fall Festival of Houses and Gardens, from October 23 to 25, 2009, features a selection of private homes and gardens representing three centuries of architecture.
