Freestyle Music Park to Host a Rockin' Fourth of July Celebration

Freestyle Music Park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will celebrate Independence Day on July 4, 2009 with special admission prices, free admission for active and retired members of the military, an extended fireworks show, patriotic paratroopers, contests for children, specially priced picnic packs and more.

The fireworks extravaganza, which begins at 9:45 p.m., features more than 20,000 individual shots from 55 different shooting positions on more than 110 acres of the Park. The fireworks presentation will be so large that Myrtle Beach International Airport will close airspace during the show.

Special prices as announced by Freestyle Music Park are four tickets for $17.76, if purchased before 4 p.m. on Saturday. Picnic packs for four will be sold at the Big Q Smokehouse for $17.76 while supplies last. All active and retired military with valid military ID and with their family members will be admitted free of charge. The celebration will take place from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. More about Freestyle Music Park.

“This is awesome. I am so glad that there is a place to go that standing behind our troops is so important to them. My husband is currently serving our great country in Afghanistan, on his second tour. It really touches my heart to see that yall are doing so much to help our military.
