Fourth of July 2009 - If you are planning to drive to Arlington, Virginia to watch the Washington, D.C. fireworks, it is important to be aware of the various street closures scheduled in the area throughout the day. If possible, it is highly recommended that you park outside of the congested area and take the Metro to your destination. The following Metro stations located in Virginia have large parking facilities. (Note that parking fees at these stations must be paid using a SmarTrip Card.):

• Vienna - Fairfax Station - Orange Line
• Huntington Avenue Station - Yellow Line
