Father's Day Family Fun with a Few Perks for Dads

Thursday June 18, 2009
If you are looking for a fun place to enjoy a family day-trip or last minute getaway to celebrate Father's Day, here are three ideas that are well worth considering. And, in each case, Dads will receive a little something free.
  • Mount Vernon Estate - Father's Day is a great day to visit the Father of our Country at his historic mansion house and estate. Special programs and free admission for fathers to George Washington's Distillery and Gristmill with purchased estate admission will be offered throughout the day. See Summer Events at Mount Vernon.

  • Biltmore Estate - With a minimum purchase of one adult ticket, Dads visit Free on Father's Day, June 21, 2009. See Travel News, Deals and Tips - Item 3.

  • National Parks - Visit any one of our wonderful National Parks on Father's Day weekend, June 20 - 21, 2009 and the whole family will be admitted free, in the first of the free summer weekends for 2009. See June Events in the Southeast.
