Hilton Head Island's Wine and Food Festival features one of the East Coast’s largest outdoor public wine tasting and auction. This popular March event offers attendees, from serious wine connoisseurs to those with a casual interest, the chance to enjoy wine and to meet and mingle with some of the most knowledgeable wine experts in the world.
The 2009 Public Wine and Food Tasting and Wine Auction takes place on Saturday, March 14th at Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn and is open to the public from 12 - 4 p.m. the silent auction takes place from 12 to 3 p.m. and the live auction takes place from 3 to 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 per person. Other events, including special dinners, demonstrations and seminars take place earlier in the week.
