Lazy Daze Arts and Crafts Festival, a top ranked festival in the Southeast, celebrates its 31st year in 2007. The festival, which attracts an estimated 60,000 people, takes place in downtown Cary, North Carolina on the fourth Saturday in August (Saturday, August 25, 2007) from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. In addition to hundreds of arts and crafts booths with everything from basketry to furniture to fine art painting and sculpture, there will be lots of family friendly entertainment on three stages and an array of food vendors.

Free parking is available at the Cary Town Hall Parking Deck on Wilkinson Avenue between Cary Town Hall and the Herbert C. Young Community Center, a two-block walk to the festival, and at Cary Towne Center mall with free shuttle bus service to the festival entrance. Handicapped parking is available about a block from the festival at Cary Town Hall and at the Cary Elementary School entrance on Kildaire Farm Road.
