State Fair of West Virginia

August 10 - 18 2007 - The State Fair of West Virginia kicked off its 83rd anniversary during the past weekend and continues until Saturday, August 18, 2007. Located at the State Fairgrounds on US Route 219 South in Fairlea, the Fair offers exhibits, amusement rides, entertainment and more. From August 13 - 16 only, visitors are able to pay the special rate of $5 for after 5 p.m. admission.

The regular gate admission rate is $10 adults, ages 13 and over, and $7 youth, ages 6 - 12. Children ages 5 and under receive free gate admission. On August 18, the Fair winds up with a Beach Boys Concert and fireworks show. Visit the State Fair of WV Web Site for more information.
