One of the top tourist events in North America, the Virginia Highlands Festival takes place July 28 - August 12, 2007 in historic Abingdon. Abingdon is located in southwestern Virginia in the Appalachian foothills, west of the Blue Ridge Mountains near the North Carolina border. What is the nearest airport ?

Roanoke Regional Airport for commercial service and Virginia Highlands Airport in Abingdon for general aviation. The 2008 Festival will take place July 26 – August 10. Thanks for visiting the Southeast US Travel site.
